Let me share with you as a way of introducing myself my favourite joke about our chances as teachers to educate:
Little girl goes home from school and says:
'Daddy, Daddy, imagine I've already got three BIG red pluses in my copy book and only one tiny black minus.
'That's great, honey. And why did you get the minus?
'Because I put in the three pluses.'
